became more self-sufficient
Updated: Jul 15, 2019
This boy had severe autism - did not speak, did not understand what others say, did not react to anything, and did not communicate with anyone.
Initial blood test results revealed the presence of chronic EBV and HHV-6 infections. All white and red blood cell counts were within reference ranges.
Changes after the 1st cycle:
He became more social, has mostly been in good moods, has become livelier, more active, became interested in the world around him. Eye contact has improved, elements of imitation have appeared, he has begun to grasp information quickly.
In kindergarten, the positive changes were noted after the beginning of the treatment.
Changes after the 2nd cycle:
Vocalization appeared, he has become more intellectually capable, started doing household things that he was not taught (for example, if he wants to eat, he takes a spoon; if something needs to be cleaned, he takes a broom).
Changes after the 7th cycle:
Began to repeat the sounds: "mom", "u", and "zhu", he continues to imitate others, he has shown interest in his classes, his behavior has improved, and had no tantrums.
Some gastrointestinal issue have appeared (e.g. dysbacteriosis).
Blood tests after the 7th cycle indicated that there was a reduction of antibodies to all of the detected viruses.
The child is still continuing treatment. Updates will be added when available.
